Back in the old times… when I was studying Psychology, there was an axiom that served as the basis for the study of the field of Social Psychology: ” A group is more than the mere sum of it’s single elements”. A concept, by the way, that came from the Gestalt Psychology.
This to say that i notice it often when i’m photographing families. And i think that that happens because each family member gives so much of him or herself to all the other members, that the dynamics are heavily enriched.
This was also what i noticed with this lovely family and i think that the title of this post fits like a glove to them. It really seemed to me that each one has a little bit of all the others within them, but a part that grows so big…!
